Kind of a petty complaint -- but tfg is still using Village People's "YMCA" at his rallies, despite calls to stop doing

so by the band's manager. Has he never been legally enjoined from doing so ?? He got in trouble back in May for having VP imitators perform "Macho Man" at MaL. (Extra barf quality for trying to imply this cowardly bully is "macho".)

And why is he playing music by militantly gay musicians for ultra-reichwing audiences ?

tRump has absolutely nothing in common with the YMCA organization, or the Village People, in any way, shape or form — plus he looks like an absolute fucking idiot.

An. Absolute. Fucking. Idiot.

The rights have probably been sold to a service that provides music for events. Once you've done that, you really have no say in where the music is played.

Like everything else he does, it makes no sense. I can't believe his followers will join in and act all excited. Is he mocking them? He certainly was when he played "Fortunate Son."

They have sold the rights to their music to a licensing company. Which means anybody can use the music. If they had not wanted as much money as they could get, they would have kept their rights and control.

Which brings up the next question: Did Trump license the song or is he just using it without compensating the rightsholder?
