I remember one of the big pet stores (either PetCo or PetSmart) ranked the candidates on their animal policies. They ended up in this order:

Hillary Clinton
Mike Pence
Tim Kaine

And in a RESOUNDING dead last

Donald Trump


If any large media source would have bothered to report on that, it would have been helpful but the story sank like a stone and vanished without a bubble.

Hillary was right. Of course though, the powers that be couldn't see beyond their self-interests. Instead of stability and things flowing right along, they decided that a total clusterfuck Dumblestiltskin was the answer.

Never trust anyone you wouldn't trust with any cat.

Because cats are more often the victims of abuse than dogs. Every shelter in the country has to lock out adoption of black cats in the 30 days before and after Halloween, to prevent abuse of those animals. I know because, by chance, I adopted a black kitty (RIP, my sweet girl) on the day they lifted the ban.
