but imo, people who aren't already aware of the connection between the two probably won't catch on as quick. It's terse and looks fairly obscure in what it's trying to imply if you don't already know.

I'd think the two portraitures are all the context needed. I think anything more would be excessive, bordering on overkill. I'd think the only demos who won't get it are the one who refuse to get it, and the ones who don't care and won't vote regardless.
