GOP politicians legislate morality for the rest of us, but show up for Trump's trial.

They lecture us and wag their fingers. They insist we are evil.
They intrude into our bedrooms and private lives.

They target various groups for restrictions and punishment.
Punishments which results in jail or death by forbidding medical treatment
to groups the GOP deems evil.

We are bullied, harassed, threatened because we don't measure up to the
standards set by the GOP.

Yes these are the very same people who show up for Trump's trial.

A trial which has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump slept with
a porn star and Playboy bunny while a married man. Committed a number
of crimes to cover it up. Also got the National Enquirer to lie and cheat
by pulling his salacious stories and printing damaging stories about opponents.

Other trials have shown that Trump is a rapist, cheats bigly on his taxes, commits
perjury, constantly lies and cheats.

We also know that Trump is a traitor, insurrectionist, tried to overthrow the US
government. He stole classified documents and harmed our national security.

How many commandments does Trump break on a daily basis?
Trump breaks laws like other people breathe.

So while the GOP vilifies good decent American citizens, they adore and support
one of the most heinous and ruthless criminals in the US.

As explained in Stewart Stevens’ book, “It Was All A Lie.”

And John Dean’s book, “ Conservatives Without Conscience.”

there’s a very good chance the House and Senate will remain gridlocked in a 50/50 split. How can anyone vote for these immoral bastards?

The hypocrisy is just stunning, isn't it?

We should all be writing letters to the editor of our local papers stressing this exact point.

they don't value families. They just like to judge others and use that as an excuse to screw people they don't like figuratively, and screw women literally and figuratively.

There's enough evidence showing him guilty.

For measuring morality. The first five are outright unConstitutional, so the US as a nation violates them just by existing. One of them would cause the entire Western socioeconomic structure to collapse because capitalism itself is based on coveting.

Only four of them are actually related to morality--don't betray your spouse (unenforced), don't lie (about your neighbour, tap-dance, tap-dance), don't steal (unless they're workers or brown people with land you want), and don't kill (even that is negotiable). None of those rules are unique or original to the bible bashing crowd.

It's actually one of the worst 'moral' guides out there.

Pretty funny when the commandments are examined from a legal, moral and practical standpoint.

But I was using in the context of the so called GOP Christians who bow down to the commandments.
Using their yardstick.

Yes indeed. The GOP takes us to the lowest common denominator on purpose.
They appeal to the dark side of human nature as a way to divide and create chaos.
So they can install their agenda.
An agenda where they have permanent power and access to all US financial assets.
