Suzanne LaFrance continues to hold the lead over Mayor Dave Bronson in Anchorage's runoff race for mayor.

While Bronson has made some gains in recent tabulations, so far it hasn't been enough.

With nearly 70,000 ballots processed, results from Tuesday are anticipated to be available as early as Friday.

According to the Division of Elections, the current turnout suggests that it will surpass the numbers seen in the general election.
