Family begs for return of kidnapped Alaska barista Samantha Koenig



The family of an Alaska teenager who was kidnapped while working at a coffee bar is offering a reward for anyone who has information about her whereabouts.

"I want to ask my daughter's captors to please send her home," James Koenig told reporters on Saturday, according to the Anchorage Daily News, offering over $12,500 for any clues about what happened to his daughter Samantha.

The 18-year-old was last seen on Wednesday evening leaving the Common Grounds Espresso stand in Anchorage, where she worked.
