There hasn't been a speech like this since Buchanan at the RNC.

(846 posts)The independents and the middle is where elections are won. Like it or not. And this lunacy does not play there. People do not want to live in lubricant grease's leftover's idea of what America should be . The culture wars they are trying to resurrect ( their coded words for the racism they can no longer hide) is not where Americans and America wants to be. We want a place of fairness and an equal shot at the brass ring. They cannot tolerate a brown or yellow America. They want the 1950's racist America where it was okay as long as it wasn't overt. They want an America where everybody went to church and we beat our wives behind closed doors and she had 7-8 kids because she has no choices to make. I do not know about anyone else but I ain't going back. Liberal Progressive and proud of it.

(5,044 posts)He was a little bit shaky in the middle of his speech, but closed strong. If Frothy the Earmark man pulls this off we are head for a big sweep in November.
Bring it on Santorum...

(10,479 posts)left who realize all 4 of their candidates are from another planet. There is a horse out there grazing in a pasture , just waiting for the head honchos of the party to whistle him into the race. They have already selected him, and I will not venture to guess who it is, but he may be the one to "save the party." I hope they wait too long to act.
