Governor Scott Walker (Koch-R) has been sharply critical in the past of using so-called one-time money from legal settlements to balance the state budget now he defends his own use of Wisconsins share of a national settlement over foreclosure and mortgage servicing abuses to help the state budget, instead of troubled homeowners.
Of course its justified, Walker-style. JSOnline reports, Gov. Scott Walker and state Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen said Thursday. money Thursday by saying this time it was different since the foreclosure crisis had a direct impact on the economy.
Out of the $140 million share of the settlement, $31.6 million was allocated to his State the majority is going promptly to help Walkers state budget shortfall: $25.6 million.
Note: Were not buying it. This is another power grab by Governor Walker to take from the people and place it into his hands to make his budget look refreshed. The 99% are left out
