Ron Paul is not really running for President. This is about Rand.

putting Repukes in charge of voting is a bit like putting cats in charge of a tuna cannery.

6. Kind of surprising, considering Paul seemed to have been growing his lead all day today.

Frankly, I wouldn't have been surprised if he had. His message certainly seemed to resonate with the Republican voters here. Sure would have been a good story had Mitt gotten beat here tonight. Oh well...

Is this another situation like Iowa where we'll only know who really won later? The guy who announced the results said something about cutting off the votes at this point, even though more votes will be coming in later.

is not the near-tie that Romney and Paul have, its the proportion of vote that the other two have. I would have expected Noot and Ricky to have roughly equal shares, since neither of them campaigned actively in Maine, but the fact that Santorum has three times the vote Gingrich has indicates how far Noot has fallen.

I mean, that's not just fourth, it's a distant fourth.

Who sticks around to become a delegate and who simply leaves after voting?

Ron Paul staffers know the answer to that.
