I'm so sad to hear this. What a brave soul she was.

She'll be both missed and long remembered.

I am not finding an obituary yet.

Time is a cruel thing. It makes us feeble and takes our friends from us.

We generally expect to live past 38. In fact, all of my cousins but two has. That's 33 out of 35, but there are really no guarantees for any of us.

the memorial will be in MI.

I'm glad her suffering is over, and the need for bravery (she was so brave), but I am so sorry about her loss. She was so inspiring, still so passionately concerned for others despite what she was going through.

In Th1onein's post earlier there was a link to the thread from last year in which AlienGirl had just been diagnosed with the recurrence, and described her worries about death; I hope she was pleasantly surprised by what she now knows what comes next.

So sad.. Such a loss

Tucker fought as hard as she could, but the cancer won out in the end.

Tucker went through a long and hard battle to combat her illness. She kept going as long as she could. Unfortunately, the cancer won out.

She let us know the inevitable was coming, but this is still a shock. Safe passage.

She wrote so eloquently about her struggle - I really hoped she'd beat it, or at least stay a little longer.

But she's no longer suffering and I know she's at peace. Condolences to her family and all her friends everywhere.
