The GOP-Pissing in every punchbowl

In their mad drive for minor (long term) political gain and wishful attempt to screw up the President's rising poll numbers Republicans at every level from local to national have entered a frenzy of legislative lunacy that guarantee both the re-election of Barack Obama and genocide of Republican incumbents everywhere.

They attempt to quash birth control. They force the FAA to suppress unions or fold. They tie the strategic oil reserve to approving Keystone. They shorten unemployment and try to force mandatory drug testing.

But what they don't do is think. The pundits say the election is made up of 40% Dems, 40% GOPs, and 20% Independents. But if we start with the premise that no Dems will desert because they see current GOP tactics as a positive thing the math becomes overwhelming...

Dems lock their 40% demographic. Indies Split 15% to 5% in Dems favor. Now among their own 40% base let's guess they have just lost ONLY half the female voters-ANOTHER 10%. About 65% blue now. But wait-with each legislative move and fakeout they split off more of the herd. And if you think there are no Republicans who care about unions or the environment and none who fear the loss of the safety net you would be wrong. Hispanics and Blacks-don't make me laugh, because unless Marco Rubio and Michael Steele can get a whole race's proxy the GOP is f'd again. What's left are loons and poseurs and dead-enders.

At every level of government the electorate have met the (GOP) future and the enemy is nuts. My bet for this election is fear of crazies by a landslide and an ass-kicking not seen since the Indians met Custer. And I'm lusting for it.
