by succeeding at something his father failed at.

Plus, he has nothing better to do. When you are making over $20 Million a year on interest alone, why get a real job?

His campaign has a lot of it, and he and the pundits think it will still protect him from the worst.

Willard believes that it is his entitlement, ie, that the nomination is his, and even worse, the yes man bubble that surrounds him continues to reinforce that idea.

I honestly think he is not being told the truth, or that it is spinned in a way that keeps him positive that he will eventually win.

I understood that very wealthy Repubs feel entitled to the greater share of wealth that comes with their business connections into the Repub party when they are in power.

But Mitt under the facade, reveals a robotic. aspect of big finance and the utter disregard for humans that he employs in financial decisions.

Thus he has closer ties to Hal the Computer...than we the people, and it shows when he reverts to his true love of finance.

Wonder if Romney thinks that somehow it will all come to him, via his back room deals....

Thanks for posting the question....and I suppose we don't know yet the promises of kingship bestowed on him by Repub insiders. But I also wonder at Romneys ability to rise above the commoner view and, from his elevated position, to disregard the view of commoners Repub or Dems...Alternate universe comes to mind where unmanageable dollars are stored.....

I'm not big on conspiracy theories and the fact that the White Horse prophecy appeared so long after Smith's death makes me question whether he actually said it or not, but I do think that Romney believes Smith said and believes it refers to him. I'm willing to be the Church leaders are feeding Romney that line as well, whether Smith said it or not is moot, Romney believes Smith said it. I,personally, hope Smith did give it, his track record on prophecy wasn't all that great. He got luck with his civil war prediction, but even that one is rather vague.
