READ THIS and you will UNDERSTAND why Hetfield & Ulrich tossed Dave Mustaine's ass out of Metallica

In a statement sent to CNN, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine on Thursday denied endorsing former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum for President of the United States.

“Contrary to how some people have interpreted my words, I have not endorsed any presidential candidate,” he said. “I hope to see a Republican in the White House. I’ve seen good qualities in all the candidates but by no means have made my choice yet.”

Mustaine told Music Radar on Tuesday that he was “completely oblivious as to who Rick Santorum was, but when the dude went home to be with his daughter when she was sick, that was very commendable.”

Literally. That's why Mustaine got tossed. Hetfield is extremely homophobic and both he and Ulrich are undoubtably Republicans too. Let's not put those two assholes on a pedestal above Psycho Dave.

I read the bit about "good qualities" in everyone riding in the Clown Car and my head exploded a little. And as much as I've always considered Mustaine to be a supreme asshole, Ulrich still wears the crown.

My favorite is the one in Toronto where a fan throws a joint on stage. He has the band stop playing, yells out "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT!!!!" and doesn't resume playing until the fan is forcefully ejected from the show.

Oh and I also saw the Dream Theater - Megadeth tour in '05 - '06 and I kept hearing that people who purchased Dream Theater's "Meet & Greet" packages that when they actually went backstage for autographs, photos, etc, that Mustaine wouldn't even acknowledge their presence.

It's not just his politics that got him kicked out of Metallica.

And back then both were cool to the fans. It wasn't until later that they all turned into dickheads. Metallica treats their fans like shit and do does Megadave.

Slayer still treats their fans right, always have.
