And they didn't talk to ONE WOMAN about what happened yesterday, both in the hearing or with Foster Friess' interview yesterday with Andrea Mitchell.
Why didn't they AT LEAST have Andrea on the panel? They played a brief clip of Carolyn Maloney but not her live. Why not?
Not ONE MAN on the panel raised the issue of not having women on the show today, except for a brief reference by a seemingly embarrassed Mike Barnicle (at least I HOPE he was embarrassed. He should have been). And Lawrence did make a brief statement and Donny Deutsch did, to their credit.
Am I being conspiracy minded if I think Joe planned it this way in some sort of sick retaliation for all of his disappointment in the way his repuke primaries have gone? Perhaps his seething hatred of women got the better of him and he said "NO women on the show today"?
I hate to start the day this pissed off, but I put the blame squarely on Scar...

(13,616 posts)Is the main huckster on that panel, and he is as right wing as they come, despite his claiming to hate the Tea Party. He has said he loves Ron Paul's demostic agenda, though of course, he wants us to attack Iran.

(13,200 posts)I have often seen him yelling over her while she helplessly rolls her eyes and pouts. This is a somewhat more sophisticated version of the show that Imus used to do (and maybe still does but he is in cable backwater now.) It is designed to appeal to those middle aged white guys who believe that the universe revolves around them.
I hate the way Mika always cowardly backs down during any dispute. For a woman who wrote a book harping on women in the work place, she sets a terrible example for young girls.

(2,424 posts)MSNBC is pulling a bonehead move trying to emulate FOX's mantra.
Neither live up to it so why pretend?
This is a losing proposition for MSNBC.
Joe is a major voice for debt reduction, but he needs to clarify how he wants to get it done. He needs to explain how everytime the subject comes up. If he wants it done on the backs of the middle class (he gives hints that he does), he is the enemy.
Why spread the FOX gospel on MSNBC? Dumb!
It would help if his female sidekick had some backbone.
I would rather watch O' Reilly than Joe.
