you don't need a prescription for condoms, and if you are using enough condoms to require insurance help - well, either lay off the Viagra, or kudos to you!

I know condoms aren't 100% on birth control, but they are a very effective protection against a range of sexually transmitted diseases, and so are even more important than BC pills for health.

And they're as expensive as generic BC pills, so I question the logic for covering stuff like the pill but not stuff like the condom. From a public health and safety POV, every dollar spent on condoms probably saves you far more dollars than every dollar spent on the pill.
