Final Vote: Payroll Tax Extension Passes House and Senate

The CSPAN-2 screen crawl reports the Senate has approved the Payroll Tax Cut Extension bill by a vote of 60-36. an earlier House vote approved the bill 293-132.

Now it's on to the WH for the President's signature and a vicroty lap!

147 Democratic
293 Totals

The 132 Nays were split 91 Republican and 41 Democratic . Not Voting was in the single digits.

Now it's on to President Obama. He could schedule a gtsmf President's Day signing!
