Mining Legislation - PLEASE WATCH THIS - Wisconsin and everywhere

This is just a bit of the testimony from Friday's public hearing regarding the mining bill that is going to the Wisconsin Senate this week. But this sort of legislation is being pushed everywhere. PLEASE WATCH THIS!

Being from a mining area in Michigan just a few hundred miles from the site they are talking about...I know how mines can affect the environment. In this video is apparent to me we have the mining industry trying to get by costly regulations by passing legislation that exempts them from laws everyone else has to comply with.

Corporations again attempting to change laws to meet their agenda of profits.

Cheers to those that are attempting to educate the public to what is really going on.

The testimony by the Tribe's representative is excellent. Starts about 2:15 mark.

and was running through the names of registered speakers - "John Smith, going, going, gone." If you had run to the bathroom, you'd miss your chance to have your two minutes. Finally someone shouted, "This isn't an auction! Though you'll make a good auctioneer when you lose your job as a Representative."

Some people drove 6 hours each way in order to have two minutes to testify. It was a painful, heartbreaking day.
