Amy Poehler made a surprise visit to the “Saturday Night Live” edition of “Weekend Update” last night, joining co-host Seth Meyers in a “Really?!?” segment aimed squarely at the current debate over religion and birth control.

In response to GOP candidate Rick Santorum’s sugar daddy Foster Freiss’s apology over his ridiculous suggestion that women once put Bayer aspirin between their legs as a cheap and effective means of birth control sent Poehler into a snarky rebuttal:

“Well, we’d love to accept your apology, Foster, but you made a mistake — and now you’re going to have to live with that mistake for the rest of your life.”
