Eventually, "compromise" is a word Republicans will embrace.

Never, you say.

When would that happen?

When they get to a brokered convention and the "true" conservatives will not compromise with the Romney moderates, the Republican establishment will be wheeling and dealing to work out a compromise. They will stress the necessity of compromise in order to keep the Party together and credible.

Even if they end up nominating Jeb Bush, they will still have to deal with the Ron Paul nutzoids. They are not likely to compromise with anyone.

At the present time, "compromise" is a dirty word to most Republicans. But, it is just a matter of time until they will have to embrace it in order to survive. Karma is about ready to kick them in the face.

"compromise" is the worst word in the english language. Even more so than "capitulate"...as in the middle class tax debacle.

Because they're conservatives, ya know. And conservatives don't change their mind overnight. Sometimes they don't change their mind for years and years, ya know.
