I said long ago, that Saul Alinsky references, calling Obama hitler and all the emotive drivel will peak too early, and leave Republicans without any motivational speech. Fear and Emotion can only be used appropriately. Or, it loses it's zing. This is the fear of those still capable of rationality.

When it is time to transition to the general campaigns, the Repub narratives will feel lackluster and droll. And fundamental and radical act just like Gulliani's noun,verb 9/11. Even the dog whistles will jam up.

Should Obama open up the oil reserves, the last dig left will be unusable by repubs.

I use the taunts to stoke anger, like everyone else. But they are doing real harm. I know several women on this forum, that are suffering psychic harm from the war on women. We must honor women for being our chum, and bait. Same with the poor and ill.

So, to honor the targets of Republican hate, we must place the Repubs heads on rhetorical poles. Use our anger to rid us of their influence. Otherwise, they will institute the hatreds they have telegraphed.

But, lets not forget, for the sake of our own sanities, that much of the hate speech, is designed to evoke a reaction from the reactionary. Not intended to be carried out. Should we take much of this to heart, it will incapacitate us, like the war on women has sidelined a few.

And try to remember, that Obama will anger us, with his inflections to the right. It is politics. War by other means. Often posturing, and not dignified.
