The Catholic Church only plays lip service to the plight of the poor. The princes of the Church have abandoned the message in the new Testament just like the evangelicals have. To them Christ was actually a communist even thought they claim he was a capitalist. They say that for convenience. You hear little from the Church about economic and social justice.

In fact the fundamentalists and evangelicals and "born agains" are really not religions. They are bible selling businesses. What they represent is a political party and not a religion.
