(82,849 posts)Is that with all the crossover into the Republican primary, political analysts can't really determine who is a Republican and who isn't by checking who voted. It will cost Republicans trying to get out the vote come November more time and money trying to figure out who is actually a Republican.

This is being passed around facebook. Long time Michigander here, and, if I were still there, I wouldn't be going to the primary polls and I'm encouraging my family members and friends not to.

(68,918 posts)I sure as hell don't want to gamble. I'm glad my friends and family are staying home. Just putting the other side out there for people. A brokered convention with a last minute candidate with Independent appeal isn't my idea of a good time.

(198 posts)My reading of the odds is that there is a much better chance for all Democrats throughout the country if Michigan Democrats follow the advice of the Democratic Party of Michigan and vote for Santorum. Let's find out if they actually have an unlimited amount of money by making them spend as much as possible before their convention.

(3,621 posts)You should never underestimate voters especially in a red state. Watch those evangelists on TV and see people's reaction with hands/arms up in the air, waving ... Praise the Lord, Praise God ...those will more likely to vote for loathsome Rick. I don't even want him to be a nom. That would give people an idea that it's okay to be religious nuts, okay to trample on Women's rights, okay to destroy education, etc. Romney sucks, granted, but it's Rick that should be locked up, he's insane.
