... maybe many would. Many didn't CHOOSE to work for religious zealots in the first place, their jobs were taken over by them.

The whole myth that all choices and changes are frictionless is one of the Big Lies of modern conservatism. It's their justification for worshipping the invisible hand and free markets.

"you don't like X? then change products/jobs/lifestyle/country/etc!"

cover bc. They cover it because they need workers and if they did not the workers would take other jobs at the other non-church hospitals. Santorum and Brownback apparently do not know that there is a need for workers. Or they do not care.
