(35,392 posts)the "cuts" in either are "cuts" to the automated increases in their budgets.
I heard a RW drone talking about that the other day on the radio. "What the liberals are whining about are the cuts to the automatic increases in budgets for entitlements!"

(9,901 posts)Here is an excerpt from the MOAA (Military Officers Association of America) article, the emphasis is mine:
MOAA has no problem with doing studies to review possible retirement changes, Ryan said. But the military retirement system is the single most important incentive to serve a military career. Its especially important to note that when Congress passed cuts to military retirement in 1986, the changes had to be repealed a decade later after they harmed retention and readiness.
Your precious fellow chicken hawk ronney raygun, with newtie in charge gutted military benefits for the likes of General Dynamics, Boeing, Northrop et al.
Military benefits were cut under raygun and restored by President Clinton.
You dumbasses claim to support the troops, but all you support are those who use them as a disposable campaign backdrop.
