Orlando Magic unveil new "El Magic" jerseys to honor Hispanic fans, and racist idiots come unglued

For the first time, the Orlando Magic will wear “El Magic” jerseys to honor their Latino fan base.

The Magic will wear the jerseys at three home games, beginning Thursday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, coinciding with the team’s “Noche Latina.”

The team also will wear the jerseys during the March 19 game against the Chicago Bulls and the March 21 game against the Phoenix Suns.

Los Spurs sounds like good Texas Spanglish.

edit to add: And La Magia would be a better name for the Orlando team, I think.

El Magic or Los Magic, either way it's as much Spanglish as Spanish. Does anyone take offense, or is it pretty much accepted as a salute toward Latinos?
