at least for the presidency.
How would we go about getting some neutral U.N. monitors, and does anyone else think they should be present?

(32,324 posts)Neither party has demonstrated much interest in sorting out the voting machinery situation.
And there are still very few penalties on the books regarding massive voter fraud. Steal an election, and get fined a couple hundred bucks, and maybe probation.

(18,696 posts)They stand outside polling stations and make sure black people don't vote twice. According to a Tea Party person I know, he wants to stop the election fraud that got Obama elected four years ago. I explained that the African American vote represented no more than 12% of the overall electorate, but he countered that he "saw them registering to vote", and "they were the reason Obama was elected".
End of argument. A sane person can no longer continue the debate.
