(86,920 posts)his good buddy Brian Schweitzer has helped him acquire stock in the pipeline...?
And I'm sure he's pissed about that train wreck outside of Fargo last year since it was less than 80 miles from where he lives and he probably has black, oily soot all over his yard and boat. So he's all against rail transport and his argument is thin given his refusal to see the big picture on the environmental impacts. He had the Sierra Club pres. on last night who made a sound argument against the pipeline, Ed wasn't having it and dismissed him rapidly after his time to speak was up.
Kind of pisses me off. I sent an e-mail to Ed last week complaining about his interview with Schweitzer the shill. Maybe this was his response. I feel I have some room to complain since I live in MT.

(6,262 posts)Remember listening to his show on XM a few years ago when he was extolling the greatness of the oil finds there.
Pretty sure he also recommended buying land like he did, saying there was going to be a boom.
This in addition to the "buy gold" hype ads.
So it is in his own interest if the pipeline goes thru.
He isn't my favorite - still really miss Martin.
