I have to say some of our Aussie imports have been a detriment in my view. I became aware of the Aussie cristofascists fairly recently
most aren't religious. My Mum was Australian and not religious...

(15,394 posts)If light from a far-off star takes millions of years to get to Earth, that's a problem since everything is just over 6000 years old so light used to be a lot faster, meaning it probably only used to take maybe hundreds of years to get here.

(20,945 posts)they are apparently unaware of scientific error. It's one of those bad ideas that someone thought up and it spread to the stupid that need crap to fill book volumes. Within error there is no evidence that the speed of light has decreased and more to the point it is empirically derived these days absolutely so oops on that whole idea.
Its funny they use really bad science data when they need it, throw good data away and pretend it isn't there when they don't.
