On Wednesday, Newsmax host Steve Malzberg praised Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) for saying what few on either side of the political aisle have said about how former President Bill Clintons past indiscretions should nullify Democratic accusations that the GOP is mounting a war on women. Paul went a step further on Malzbergs show, calling Clinton a repetitive sexual predator.
Malzberg called the irony of Democrats praising Clintons legacy while at the same time accusing Republicans of condoning rape twisted and sick. He praised Paul for highlighting that hypocrisy in stark terms.
Paul noted that it would be highly controversial if a political figure accepted a donation from an unsavory character. He asked how it would be perceived if that unsavory character was a candidates husband or friend raising funds for Democratic politicians across the nation.
Obviously, having sex with an intern in the office is inappropriate by any standard, Paul said. And where are the women who believe in womens right, the women who allege some kind of war is going on by the other party, where are they to stand up and say, You know what? Maybe Bill Clinton isnt the best representative of our party since he really depicts whats really gross and wrong with workplace harassment?

(9,478 posts)behavior. Perhaps we should look at how the Democrats and Republicans hold their politicians accountable for such offenses. Also, Rand might want to look up the definition of sexual predator.

Anyhow, Hillary stood by her man, but got nothing but scorn for it from the GOP side, because with them it's all about hatred of Dems. Just the way being anti-abortion is all about fear, mistrust, and hatred of women.

That's what's throwing them off.

Clinton is a horndog. There is no evidence he was ever a predator. The whole thing with Payola Jones was likely a practical joke gone very wrong.

(13,598 posts)The moment credible evidence that Clinton ever had sex with someone without their consent, or harassed them against their will, emerges, I'll unambiguously condemn him.
While the allegations are limited to a) ones which are clearly true, of consensual infidelities and b) ones of rape, without much evidence behind them, I won't much care about them.
