Hannity Selling New York Home for $3.6 Million: Does This Mean He’s Really Leaving?

First, he threatened to leave the New York state because of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s comments about “extreme conservatives” not being entirely welcome. Then he walked back those threats, saying he would probably stay at least until his 15-year-old son graduated high school. But now, it looks as though Sean Hannity may have been serious about moving out of New York after all.

Newsday is reporting that Hannity has put his Long Island estate on the market for an asking price of $3.6 million. According to the listing agent, the “gated 2.05-acre home comes with a pool, observation deck and stairs to the beach.” Built in 2001, the 4,824-square-foot brick Colonial has a whopping six fireplaces.

Glad he is leaving New York, but he will still be around to be a pain. Actually I wonder how much tax money New York is losing by him leaving. I honestly don't like how the North East is losing people so much. It is not good. Getting rid of Hannity would be incredible if he was fully retiring but he is not.

getting picked up by premiere, a division of clear channel. Also, he lost his 9 pm time slot. I was told a while back that his move would probably have more to do with that than politics in NY or taxes.

He's probably going to move to Florida with his buddy Rushbo.

EDIT
Had to remove the link because the site removed the listing and it was showing a different house.

It would take a poor starving Polar bear to eat him. He'd probably throw up afterwards.

I wonder what poor soul will get him for a neighbor? I hope they are Democrars on both sides and harass him constantly...driving him away.

I looked at the pictures and it looks like you can throw rocks at the neighbors. Long but narrow lots. But I live way out in the woods. I have to pipe sunlight in.

As long as he works in NY State he is liable for state income taxes. Fox News is not going to relocate out of NYC because that is where all the people they need to support their networks are at.

Rush Limbaugh relocated from NYC to Florida to escape income taxes, but you can do a radio show ranting to yourself in a empty room any where in America. That isn't true for TV networks.
