(15,682 posts)A week of full DU participation could help stir it up. Problem is, I just haven't used either of my two twitter accounts other than for just one tweet. I don't really know anything about how to make it work and am sure I'm not alone. Plus, could we ever expect a consensus with participation here at DU on anything? Or even enough to start or encourage anything?

(22,271 posts)but, apparently, my VALID POINTS are now considered "cacophony." Put it this way, try being over 50 and seeing what you pay for premiums. I signed up twice and twice I've cancelled. The "good" insurance (gold or platinum) is more than I can afford and the shitty insurance is unusable with a $6,000 per person per year deductible. We won't even get into the 60/40 aspect of it.
Dismiss people's concerns if you will, and yes, some of them are teaklanners, but many, like me are not and deserve to be heard.
