Lets dig a little deeper for a dream team. What would you think of fmr Gov. Gregoire as a nominee?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_Gregoire

I think she's really great and certainly has ample executive experience. I also think she's earned a right to be at the top of a ticket. She's known as a hard nosed Attorney general and supportive of the military as well as civil rights. She's not known as a big proponent of gun laws (Washington State has a stronger constitutional "2nd amendment" than the other states or the US).

And well... to me, she looks and acts presidential.

Hell, sure, throw her in there. I'd love to see a hotly-contested primary with TwilightGardener Feb 2014 #1
O'Malley has already formed an exploratory committee. He's running. n/t FSogol Feb 2014 #2

VP Biden is interested in where you are drawing that line, he's just a couple years younger Bluenorthwest Feb 2014 #4

They should all run. Also some new ones. At least 9 to start. Bluenorthwest Feb 2014 #8

numerous contenders. I know nothing about her, but I'm willing to find out. I wouldn't mind if ANY Dem govs jumped in--O'Malley, Schweitzer (though I don't like his anti-Obama assholery), John Hickenlooper (Bad hair, but I thought he handled Colorado's multiple massive natural disasters very well). The more the merrier. Maybe not Jerry Brown, because he's got to be ancient and you have to draw the line somewhere.

advisors and speech writers to help him up his game. I'd actually say the same about Elizabeth Warren, if she were running. We need some credible alternatives.

than Brown. I doubt Jerry would run. But I fully support the crowded, contested primary filed, I want them all to run long and hard. The 2008 primary cycle annoyed DU to no end but it was the best thing to happen to our Party in ages. More of that please.

he will--too much of a relationship with Clinton, and he surely knows he's a little long in the tooth and it would be a very hard slog for him to win the nomination.

Two to favor, one to hate, three without a chance in hell, one running to sell a book, one for comic relief and one to drop out for 'personal' or scandalous reasons early on.

she is tough and commands respect.
I was also thinking of Gary Locke as VP for whoever wins the nomination.

I worked with his brother in law and I've met him a couple of times. He's a genuinely nice person.
