General Discussion

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christine_GregoireI think she's really great and certainly has ample executive experience. I also think she's earned a right to be at the top of a ticket. She's known as a hard nosed Attorney general and supportive of the military as well as civil rights. She's not known as a big proponent of gun laws (Washington State has a stronger constitutional "2nd amendment" than the other states or the US).
And well... to me, she looks and acts presidential.

I wouldn't mind if ANY Dem govs jumped in--O'Malley, Schweitzer (though I don't like his anti-Obama assholery), John Hickenlooper (Bad hair, but I thought he handled Colorado's multiple massive natural disasters very well). The more the merrier. Maybe not Jerry Brown, because he's got to be ancient and you have to draw the line somewhere.

(46,416 posts)he will--too much of a relationship with Clinton, and he surely knows he's a little long in the tooth and it would be a very hard slog for him to win the nomination.

I was also thinking of Gary Locke as VP for whoever wins the nomination.
