I really miss Autumn in Ohio/WV. I plan on heading that way this fall. The wife has never seen autumn (we have two seasons here- hot as hell followed by a brief cooling off period). I have an uncle that lives outside of Stupidville (Steubenville) so I plan on popping in on him, and will probably bop on down to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We went to Adena, Ohio every Xmas till I was in High school...visited relatives in Steubenille. Thanks for the memories your post triggered. Oh I remember my Father showing us the black water lines of the buildings to show the flood levels.
Was very impressed a river could get that high.
