"Don't tell me all these storms that are predicted by Global Climate Change

are caused by Global Climate Change."

That's pretty much what I see every other day on Facebook from somebody or other.
GCC deniers have now sunk to the level of creationist, where no evidence can change their minds.
The are so committed to their faith that GCC isn't real that to change their minds and accept what is happening all around them must be seen as a personal surrender and a refutation of God or something.
It's sad and scary, since there are too many in Government who feel this way.

Climate change models predict that as you add heat (i.e. energy) to the atmosphere, it doesn't just cause everything to become warmer. More energy in the atmosphere means more crazy extremes, such as ice storms in Georgia and tornadoes in SW Washington.

I mean, even if you get a well-rounded science education, the math that underlies non-linear systems isn't being mentioned. I think chaos theory was a very unfortunate name for this branch of mathematics.

should account for something. Unfortunately anti-science and an top intellectualism runs deep.

Take one of those 99.9% of Climate Scientists that accept anthropogenic climate change, and take one of the 0.01% of Climate Scientists who do not (and are employed by Chevron or BP), put them in a news segment and then declare the issue a controversy that cannot be resolved.
