Bottled water should have the source of the water printed on the label

The law or regulation should require this.

If the source is a public water system, name it.

If the source is something else, name that.

If the source is both, name both and the rough proportion.

If they want to put on the label what they do to the water afterwards, that's fine, I'm sure there will be room.

Bottlers must include the name of the product and type of water; the name and address of the manufacturer, packer, or distributor; and the net content on their labels.
