Refusing services of any kind over religious views is a time to go to political war against those who propose it. People need to get publicly nasty with these legislators and then toss them out. At some point it means killing someone because they were refused a vital service. So should a Christian scientist be able to refuse treatment for a heart attack. Where will this shit end?

(10,602 posts)Based on what I have seen recently over privatization issues over US36 in Colorado American citizens do not have any fight left over economic issues or probably religious issues. And if there is any unrest our police state for the rich will put it down. Look at OWS.
I was being a little provocative on purpose. It does not seem like there is anything that is not too outrageous these days.

What is wrong is when some religious body thinks they can make law that will not allow personal decisions (such as abortion) because they do not believe it is right. A lot of the rw are theocrats and they do want to make our personal decisions for us. Bah to them.

Was it unamerican 60 years ago when southern black Christian ministers were leading the movement to abolish segregation?
It ain't who is proposing policies, it is the policies they are proposing.
