Thank you so much to the 2 members who gave me hearts.

I was feeling down today--the first Valentine's Day without my husband of almost 30 years & they actually made me feel better. It's amazing how a thing like that can help take the ache away. Thank you from the bottom of MY heart!

It was a great wedding--we did it in his parents' living room with only close friends & family present. His folks had a great house near Holland which was almost on Lake Michigan, so during the reception in their back yard, we'd take off to go swimming at the beach because it was in the upper 80's that sunny day. I knew when I married him that he was probably not going to have a normal life span because he was diagnosed with brittle Type I DM at age 4, but we had a really good run until about 3 years ago when things started shutting down on him. I mean, who knows anything? I am healthy but could've been hit by a bus. Kiss & hug your loved ones because you only have them for such a short time. That might sound odd coming from someone who was with the same man for almost 31 years, and married for almost 30, but time passed quickly when you marry the right person, and I certainly did that. I have my spoiled rescue kitties waiting for me at home, so life is still good.

Thank you ALL!!!!!!!
