"SNIP................................
(Reuters) - A strong majority of Americans - and an even greater percentage of Floridians - support normalizing relations with Cuba, according to a poll released on Tuesday by the Atlantic Council, a Washington-based think tank.
In an apparent boost to efforts to end the half-century-old economic embargo against Cuba, the poll found that 56 percent of respondents nationally favored changing U.S. Cuba policy, a number that rose to 63 percent when just counting Florida residents.
Supporters of the embargo said the poll was politically biased, questioned its methodology and said it was unlikely to have any impact in Washington.
The poll comes on the back of a series of surprise political announcements in recent days that could challenge longstanding U.S. policy towards the communist-run island.

communism for another 50 years till they voluntarily give you and your 50 closest relatives back your property? Think of the humanity. Think of all the opportunity to create new wealth in both Cuba and southern Florida with all the growth and mixed market capitalism that will come with normalization. Cuba is a huge country. That is a lot of waste. Nobody is saying you can't argue for most favored investor status to Obama. The tourists from other countries are the only ones who can afford to eat out in restaurants in Cuba. The locals are very poor and will remain that way until the USA starts trading with Cuba, overwhelms the country with investment and democracy will follow. You can hold out forever because you live in a wealthy country and are not dirt poor. What tough lives the cubans will live, and have, while you hold out.
