I'm the proud father of a pro-woman, pro-equality Socialist Witchscout.

... and if you knew her mother and I, you'd know she comes by her deviancy honestly.

Americans are accustomed to hearing about major culture war issues like abortion, guns, and gay rights. But many conservatives are adding another issue to the mix: Girl Scouts. No, seriously.

One is a word used to denote a variety of non-Christian beliefs and practices, while the other are small, sweet, baked confections.

It is important not to get the two mixed up.

I talked with several of the moms and mentioned the fundie fatwa against them. All agreed the attackers are nuts (but I'd bet they still vote for elepharts).

"I can't buy any cookies," I said, "because I will eat them."

But I donated a couple bucks in support.
