Why the Tea Party is the biggest bunch of hypocrites in America political history?

The Tea Party came into existence after Barack Obama was elected President. It is doubtful they would exist today if John McCain had won in 2008?

They deserted the Republican Party under the pretense that they were sick of the huge deficits and the bailouts of the big banks by George W Bush. They pretended they were a "grassroots" movement but it did not take them long to gather under the umbrella of Dick Armey (former Republican Majority Leader) and a group called FreedomWorks. (which Armey later agreed to sell out his part for $8 million dollars)

But they had no problem with deficits so long as Republicans were running them. They said nothing about the huge taxcuts that cost our Treasury somewhere between $3 and $4 trillion dollars. They had no problem with going to war in Afghanistan and invading Iraq without paying for it. They were silent when that was put on the old credit card. And they had no problem with a $600 billion Medicare prescription drug program because it was a Republican idea.

They had no problem with any spending or deficits until the entire economy almost collapsed in September of 2008, while George W Bush and the Republicans were still in charge. Then they were like rats deserting a sinking ship. Their grassroots movement was nothing more than an effort to survive the 2nd Great Depression.

Now, today, they have taken over a big part of the Republican Party. Rand Paul, one of their leaders, wants them to be a "happy" Party. He wants them to separate themselves from the radical rhetoric of the most "extreme" in their Party. Once again, they are pretending to be something separate from themselves. Hypocrites, thy name is Tea Party!

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]The Koch Brothers started the Tea Party in 2002.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]It evolved, and grew nuttier and nastier after 2008, fed by Obama Derangement Syndrome, but it definitely existed before then.

Teahadist talk about deficits are just a cover for controlling the purse strings. It is convenient for them.
