Seems Like A Lot Of Dems Are Quiet On The Indiana Issue.

I would like to see a lot more prominent Dems going after Pence. It seems like there are a lot of cowards who are afraid of their own shadows. They should be raising so much H it is not even funny. Just call that bastard and the legislature a bunch of racists and bigots right to their faces. There are a few that speak out but I hear a lot of silence. Or am I missing something?.

Why do we not fight back like the RW does? Seems like we are always pulling punches.

Every time I see the intelligent Howard Dean on TV explaining the issues I wonder 'why isn't he the DNC chairman? This Indiana fiasco is a gift that should be milked for all it's worth.

would have been all over this story, Dems. not so much. Fundamental difference, no kill instinct in Dems., take the high road. Meanwhile maybe we should lead ourselves-

So far the owners have done a great job on Indiana. Pence also declared war on the bought and paid for media whom at least to me appear to be critical. Once politicians get into it, Pence can shift defense it is just partisan noise. It ain't going away and is far from being over, open season starts once they do not fix the problem. This spill will be hard to clean up.

And not only them, but their staffs, lawyers accountants, etc. Add in operating expenses and perks and it's quite a tab. Then we donate to the parties and work for them for free.

We can do some things, yes, but it's their day job.

If Democrats in Washington appear to be attacking a state government, they play into the hands of those who claim that the feds are interfering with states' rights. And the opposition will only embolden the far right lunatics in Indiana, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Georgia. I live in NC. I know how these right-wingers in charge of the state legislature think - well, I know to some degree, as their level of stupidity and ideological blindness is somewhat baffling to me - but I do know that if any Democrat in Washington, D.C. says something about their legislative process it will be red meat for the evening news.

Let this play out. The Republicans are exposing their bigotry very well this week.

Excellent question and worthy of much thought and even research.

Remember, most humans usually don't keep repeating behaviors unless they get something out of it.

Right now Governor Dense is having more than he can handle due to business leaders protesting and there is no real need for the Democrats to pile on yet. BTW,Schumer was very effective yesterday pointing out why the Indiana law is very different from the federal law
