I can't find anything indicating it's not real. If it isn't, they went to an awful lot of work setting up a joke.

All I got was the big dash button overlay and I clicked on "more info" so I never saw the front page. Now it's showing me the front page and I see what you mean.

I think Dash was actually announced yesterday and today's update was the real joke, but they probably timed them near enough one another as to get super free publicity (the drone thing was also not a joke and Amazon is going ahead with it but it came out around April Fools day).
