Kathleen Smith of Tomball, TX. is apparently running for the title of the most hateful woman in America today. While at a trip to the local grocery store, Kathleen came across a 2-year-old child who was having some difficulties. Now, some people might feel bad or awkward in such a situation. Some parents might sympathize for the mother, especially if they have been there. But not Kathleen Smith. She decided not only to think vile things about the child, like praying to Baby Jesus that there is something wrong with the child and then recommending the mother beat the f**k out of the toddler.
In her 3 minute rant she goes on to also recommend killing the child among other nastiness. Lines like pick your weapon and end the drama, end the torture are throughout the hateful rant.
The video must be seen to be believed, really.
then her follow up "apology"

This woman needs some serious help...very serious help.
I can't imagine how messed up her poor kids must be.

(17,997 posts)Except I'm sure she beat the shit out of her kids.
Something about fear leading to respect.
This is why republicans are bullies they were brought up that way.
I realize that it's not at all funny. Ridiculous would have been a better word to use.
I am really surprised that there are still people that think this way. I imagine that if you are raised like this, you have to be either intelligent, compassionate or both to not do the same when you are an adult.
Hopefully, her kids don't act like she does

This woman has some serious problems. And how exactly is it that "tree huggers" equate to unruly children?
Smdh.

(17,997 posts)Well, except for the cayenne pepper. I don't like spicy. I would never make it in Texas
Otherwise, looks yummy. I may make it for a group outing to see Selma on Saturday. Thanks!

(21,046 posts)Native Texan here. I have to really watch what I eat because of people saying "Oh it's not hot". Well, the hell it is, she says as she runs to the sink with a mouth on fire!
I grew up eating a lot of mild Tex-Mex at a chain called Monterey House just outside of Houston that no longer exists. Food has gotten a lot spicier in general and I have to avoid it. Also I have some food allergies.
Tomball is a burb northwest of Houston.

(68,918 posts)I'm all too familiar with the area. Main Street is a pain in the ass, and it's where my dentist used to be. (lived here 6 years now ) It's saving grace is the Showboat. (which is technically not Tomball but close enough... lol)
I'm pretty sure she went to the HEB at 249

(61,715 posts)Well, posting in support of discrimination against entire groups of people might get you kicked off DU, since it is a private site and has the right to make its own rules, but nobody is requiring you to hate anything or anybody.
By all means, express your support for blatant racism, legalized homophobia, and I missed the thread about the hamster but he sounds like a charming child. Proceed.

(14,547 posts)tape and post it if you do. I am also suspect that the entire thing happened as she said it did. Come on, a store is going to allow a woman to tear open merchandise and leave it strewn all over the place on a weekly basis? She goes grocery shopping every Sunday and the checkout girl says this women (along with her always screaming kid) does too, yet this is the 1st time their paths have crossed?
She sure does love her some Jesus, guns and Duck Die nasty. Most likely anti-choice but kill the kid if it cries.
You know what I find effective when someone's kid is crying in a store? A big smile and a wink. Sometimes I even make funny faces and stick out my tongue.

(13,110 posts)I didn't think it was possible, but she ruined the use of my favorite word.
She prayed to baby Jesus with that Christian mouth of hers ???
What is wrong with some people ???
P.S. She can not count. That is no surprise.
"There are only two things you can do;
1. Kill it
2. Give it away
3. Leave it at home"
I guess her out of control rage interfered with her ability to count.
What a sad hateful individual.
Respect is earned.
It is not beaten into a person.
