Now that her political career is over for good, I hope we'll hear less and less of her. WCCO 830 AM does a bit with someone who sounds a lot like her. The voice is named "Not Michele Bachmann," and is a parody of the real one's vapid and mindless speech. Those little bits always end with "Because of Obamacare, we're all going to die!" spoken in Bachmann's annoying nasal whine.

She can practically taste that Fox News or lobbying money, and despite being free of office, still doesn't dare use the brain or integrity she may once have had. She failed to establish herself as a significant power beyond her occasional sound bite. She accomplished nothing, was seen to accomplish nothing, and was no longer as young and pretty or even as charismatic as, say, a Palin by the time she reached national television. She just missed, therefore, that sweet, sweet Fox News gig.

She's this decade's Katherine Harris, and we can at least enjoy her fall into obscurity. Look for further and more over-the-top sound bites this year from her as she desperately tries to sell what's already sold and no longer marketable.
