She was visibly shaking, and Bill O'Reilly couldn't get rid of her fast enough. Not a criticism, but it was obvious.

(23,664 posts)She said things that were so over the top that she got attention for saying them. Nobody else would say that kind of crap, but now that's all changed now.
The entire republican party is full of idiots that say the same kind of off the wall shit that Coulter vomited out and she now just sounds like everybody else.
It's not offensive now, it's just sorta pathetic.

(70,769 posts)And he said that she and INGRAHAM were obsessed with becoming t.v. talking heads. INGRAHAM pointing a gun at an ex-boyfriend, crawling across barroom floors, coming back from hobnobbing with LIMBOsevic and other top wingnuts and spilling the beans on their goings-on. And one of her boyfriends was Dinesh D'Souza, what a darling couple!1 Oh, INGRAHAM converted to Catholicism so she is a model of Christian love now (not).
Will post back after seeing COULTERgeist.

(70,769 posts)Maybe O'LOOFAH has the effect on her, with his 1950s White male dominance. She launched into a non-stop rambling rant of wingnut gripes -- New York Times, poor us wingnuts, media, Rethugs don't stand up, blah blah -- then when *that* part ended, the camera kept shooting her from behind, no face, all the gigantic mane, and even more bizarre the hairdo kept trembling, which was revealed from the front to be her nodding her head with tiny little nods while O'LOOFAH yapped on. After he broke her mouth-running, she was like out of air. Now that the "drunk" label is put on it, well maybe so. And come to think of it, this is the first and only time I've seen her on the O'LOOFAH carnival, while INGRAHAM is like an appendage to him, what's up with that?!1

Who cares? Of course she's drunk. No one sober could act the way she does. She's obviously a bitter alchy.... like Boehner.

(33,688 posts)in the sub-atomic world.
One not discussed by theoretical physicists, but which unquestionably exists, is the stupidion or "idion" a particle that radiates not light but stupidity. Annthrax is one of the leading sources of idion radiation in this part of the galaxy. The sheer accumulated weight of all these quanta of stupidity may eventually disrupt this sector of space, causing a rift in the spacetime fabric. Certainly the reichwingers are doing far more than their part to make it so.

Anyone know any background or details on this?
Most of the (PCUSA) Presbyterians I know are liberal. Yes, some PCUSA churches are conservative, and there are conservative members in churches that are largely liberal.
I have known some PCA (Presbyterian Church in America... a different organizational church) Presbyterians, too. PCA teaches that homosexuality is a sin, divorce is a sin, abortion is a sin, the Bible is inerrant... they only ordain men, etc. etc.
Is she PCA, PCUSA, or--more likely--just running her mouth?
ETA: To answer my own question... I see that when her "Godless" book came out, she took a Time magazine reporter to Redeemer Presbyterian in Manhattan. It is a PCA church. On that particular occasion, Ron Silver went along. Coulter has claimed to be a regular Redeemer attendee, but Raw Story contacted the church's communications director who said she is not a member and could not confirm that she attends. No one there knows her. This was a few years ago.
