============
If someone does something that you disagree with, that does not make it "persecution". For example, if somebody takes a crap in the middle of an aisle on a plane you are flying on, that does not mean you are being "persecuted".
If someone marries someone that you might disapprove of, because of their sex, that does not mean you are being "persecuted".
If someone eats pork, that does not mean you are being "persecuted".
Simply because you might disagree with the actions or lifestyle of someone does not meet the definition of "persecution".
If someone is an atheist and does not believe in "your" God, you are not being persecuted.
In fact, it might be argued that you are the one that is persecuting other people because you do not like what they say or what they do and you attempt to silence them or make their actions illegal by your actions.
Now, if they sabotage your home or property in an attempt to drive you away from a community or to discredit you because of your religious belief, or they say that your religion is "evil" and say that you should be annihilated from the face of the earth, then you are being persecuted.
