Miley Cyrus Just Went Wrecking Ball on Indiana and Tom Cotton
An unlikely ally in the fight against Indianas bogus Religious Freedom Restoration Act has appeared: Miley Cyrus.
Sen. Tom Cotton (the same guy that brought you the infamous letter to Iran) appeared on CNN Wednesday to discuss the RFRA, where he was in full bonehead form:
I think its important we have a sense of perspective about our priorities, Cotton said. In Iran they hang you for the crime of being gay. Theyre currently imprisoning an American preacher for spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ in Iran. We should focus on the most important priorities that our country faces right now.
Twitter immediately saw the inherent irony in Sen. Cottons words:

So I guess next time Tom Cotton complains about a "War on Christmas" or "persecution of Christians" we can just refer him to Saudi Arabia?

But one person in particular wasnt having any of Sen. Cottons nonsense: Miley Cyrus. The pop star rallied her 19.4 million followers to the cause with a tweet that included the Senators office phone number:
