Incredible video of two dogs protecting a child from being struck by mom (?) (Edited)

Watch as the child retreats to the end of the couch as the woman threatens it with a shoe. One of the two dogs jumps up on the couch between them.

Watch the tail. Wagging the whole time, but vocalizing certain distress. At the :55 mark the dog even grabs the woman by the arm, and you can tell it is a gentle grab but still effective.

Totally amazing.

Edit to add that the video was published to YouTube last December, but appeared on my Facebook feed just now.

2nd edit; One of the comments on the YouTube page suggests it is indeed staged, that the dogs reacted this way in the past and the woman did it again in order to catch it on camera. Tells me two things; The dogs are wonderful and this woman likes to hit her kid with a shoe.

So..take it for what it is.
