http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/10/us/video-of-encounter-that-led-to-south-carolina-police-shooting-is-released.html?_r=0I noticed this last night on Lawrence, do you all also see the passenger head moving around?
What is in the story about that?
Now I am hearing he had a friend with him, sure want to know what he has to say about all this.

(14,550 posts)it from the get-go. The passenger stayed in the car. He has not made any statements AFAIK. There is a 2nd video that was released. The cop pulled him over because his 3rd brake light was out. The one in the rear window. I can not find if this is an actual ticket-able offense. The most I have been able to find is that as long as you have another brake light working, you get a ticket to repair, at most.

(41,867 posts)I never noticed the passenger. I just assumed he was driving by himself. It was never even mentioned on any of the videos, or broadcasts about this on MSNBC. I too am wondering if the person in the car will speak up? I wonder how he (or she) got home. Were they detained by the police? strange, very strange.

(5,208 posts)From the passenger's view. When Scott ran, he made a turn into an alley or something, not sure, but that's why the dash cam did not capture the confrontation or the shooting.

(5,018 posts)sure hope so.
You see like Michael Brown and many others, it makes NO DIFFERENCE what happened when they may be wrestling over a tazer
once that man runs away, unarmed, you must NOT shoot him unless he poses a clear danger which clearly he doesnt

If you read anything on the passenger, please post.
