General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsHave you ever gone to the 'old' DU and read your old posts?
I just took a trip down memory lane and found some interesting posts, saw names I have not seen in years. Do any of you still post there?
I had to laugh, I'm still posting about computer problems. I guess I will until I leave this mortal coil.
When I joined DU in 2005, I posted all kinds of stuff re: Bush, the re-thugs, --who knows what.
I thank Elizabeth Edwards for leading me here.
The 'who knows what' still stands. What a great site, we are lucky to have a place, groups, forums, just plain stuff. A place to vent, inform, whatever.
Thanks everyone!
Meanwhile, back on the ranch.......

I grok your pain.

(17,469 posts)have to dig up old threads for people with "imperfect" recollections of the past. Certain people/topics will get mentioned, leading to a flair up and a dusting off of old posts to remind folk who said what when.
Occasionally, I go back in to dig up a humorous or useful post, most recently one on Terri Schiavo.

(17,469 posts)rebuttal to the lies, misinformation, and talking points of the day. I posted it to be helpful, and got into a VERY heated discussion with a DUer who insisted that Ms. Schiavo could undergo neurogenesis and "get better".
It is always disheartening to find someone impervious to fact on your own team.

Cool to look back. Also embarrassing to read what I wrote as a kid.
Then again I'm often embarrassed by what I write the next day.

(17,469 posts)you ALWAYS look back at what you said/did and cringe. I am pondering having "What was I thinking" tattooed to the palm of my hand.
